Before & After
Modern Kitchen Remodel – Potomac, MD
This before-and-after kitchen remodel in Potomac, MD traded a dated oak kitchen for a modern European look — flat-panel greige cabinetry, cream uppers, integrated appliances, and a black-framed window over the run.
The original kitchen was classic 1990s builder-grade: oak cabinets, tan tile, and a cluttered U-shaped layout. The new design strips it back to clean planes, hidden storage, and quiet color.
Beneath the new finishes, the kitchen received the same full mechanical update as every project we do — electrical, plumbing, and ventilation to current code.
Handled start to finish by Think2Remodel, a licensed Montgomery County contractor (MHIC #159517).

Handleless flat-panel cabinetry in warm greige with cream uppers — a minimalist European look with soft-close hardware throughout.
A full-height cabinet column frames the counter-depth refrigerator and wall oven, keeping the room’s lines unbroken.
A five-burner gas cooktop set into the quartz with a concealed vent hood above — serious cooking power with nothing visually loud.
Pale quartz counters continue up the wall as a backsplash for one continuous, easy-clean surface.
A new black-framed window over the sink anchors the palette, backed by recessed LEDs and under-cabinet strips.
Soffits removed, storage rebalanced, and electrical, plumbing, and gas lines brought up to current code.
"We wanted a kitchen that felt calm — no clutter, no handles, nothing shouting. They understood immediately. It looks like a European showroom but works like a family kitchen."
