Before & After
Primary Bathroom Remodel – Chevy Chase, MD
This before-and-after primary bathroom remodel in Chevy Chase, MD turned a dated beige bath into a spa-level retreat — marble-look walls, a black freestanding tub, a frameless walk-in shower, and a floating double vanity.
The original bathroom had a beige builder tub, oak double vanity, and hex tile from decades past. Everything came out, and the layout was rebuilt around the tub and shower as the centerpiece.
Beneath the new finishes, the bathroom received the same full mechanical update as every project we do — electrical, plumbing, and ventilation to current code.
Handled start to finish by Think2Remodel, a licensed Montgomery County contractor (MHIC #159517).

A matte black freestanding tub with a floor-mounted brass filler — the visual anchor of the whole room.
A frameless glass walk-in shower with marble-look slab walls, a rain head, hand shower, and built-in LED niches.
A dark wood floating double vanity with quartz top, undermount sinks, and backlit mirrors above.
Large-format marble-look panels wrap the wet areas — the seamless, grout-light look that defines a modern spa bath.
Brushed brass faucets, shower trim, and accents throughout, with layered LED lighting for both task and mood.
Supply lines, drains, and ventilation were rebuilt for the new layout and brought up to current code.
"It looks like the bathroom in a five-star hotel — the black tub against the marble is unreal. The team protected the whole house, hit the schedule, and the finish quality is flawless."
