Before & After
Spa Bathroom Remodel – Olney, MD
This before-and-after spa bathroom remodel in Olney, MD replaced an almond-toned 1980s bath — gold-framed shower stall and all — with marble-look walls, a black soaking tub, a glass shower, and warm brass fixtures.
The original room had a cultured-marble vanity, framed shower insert, and baseboard heat crowding the layout. The new plan opens the wet zone and gives the tub pride of place under the window.
Beneath the new finishes, the bathroom received the same full mechanical update as every project we do — electrical, plumbing, and ventilation to current code.
Handled start to finish by Think2Remodel, a licensed Montgomery County contractor (MHIC #159517).

A freestanding black soaking tub with a floor-mounted brass filler, set against marble-look walls for maximum contrast.
A frameless glass shower with rain head, hand shower, and recessed niches replaced the gold-framed 1980s stall.
A warm wood floating vanity with a quartz top and wall-mounted brass faucet keeps the room light and open.
Large-format marble-look panels wrap the room with minimal grout — the defining spa detail.
Brass trim, sconces, and accents throughout, with a woven pendant for a softer, layered light.
Relocated supplies and drains for the freestanding tub, plus updated heating and ventilation to current code.
"The tub under the window is everything. It went from the most embarrassing room in the house to the one I show people first. Professional crew, zero surprises on cost."
