Before & After
Kitchen Remodel – Rockville, MD
This before-and-after kitchen remodel in Rockville, MD replaced a closed-in 1980s oak kitchen with a bright, open workspace — white shaker cabinetry, a large seating island, and a full stainless appliance package.
The original kitchen had oak cabinets, laminate counters, a white fridge crowding the doorway, and no island at all. We stripped it to the studs and rebuilt the layout around how the family actually cooks.
Beneath the new finishes, the kitchen received the same full mechanical update as every project we do — electrical, plumbing, and ventilation to current code.

Crisp white shaker cabinetry with soft-close hardware replaced the dated oak — more storage, cleaner lines, and a layout that finally makes sense.
A brand-new center island with a thick quartz top and seating for three — prep space, storage, and the social hub the old kitchen never had.
French-door refrigerator, slide-in range, dishwasher, and range hood — all stainless, all new, all placed for a proper work triangle.
Classic white subway tile runs the full length of the counters — timeless, durable, and easy to keep clean.
A matte black faucet and hardware give the white kitchen definition, backed by recessed LED downlights and under-cabinet lighting.
The room was reworked for an open flow, with electrical, plumbing, and ventilation brought up to current code — the same full mechanical update we do on every project.
"We went from a kitchen we apologized for to the room everyone gathers in. The island changed how we live in this house. Clean crew, clear communication, and they finished on the week they promised."
