Before & After
Navy Vanity Bathroom Remodel – Clarksburg, MD
This before-and-after bathroom remodel in Clarksburg, MD kept the blue — but did it right. Powder-blue wall tile from the 1960s gave way to clean white surfaces anchored by a navy double vanity.
The original bath had blue tile halfway up every wall, a blue tub, and a laminate counter. The refresh keeps a nod to the old color in the vanity while everything around it goes bright.
Beneath the new finishes, the bathroom received the same full mechanical update as every project we do — electrical, plumbing, and ventilation to current code.
Handled start to finish by Think2Remodel, a licensed Montgomery County contractor (MHIC #159517).

A navy shaker double vanity with a white quartz top and two undermount sinks — the room’s anchor and its color story.
The blue tub was converted to a frameless glass shower with white large-format tile.
Crisp white tile and paint replace the wall-to-wall blue, letting the vanity carry the color.
Matching mirrors with medicine-cabinet storage and updated lighting over each sink.
Polished chrome faucets, shower set, and hardware keep the transitional look bright and easy to match.
Double-sink supply and drain work, new shower valve, and ventilation to current code.
"They talked us out of all-white and into the navy vanity — best call of the whole project. Two sinks means no more morning traffic jam. Quality is excellent everywhere you look."
